Ashley was born 2 months early, weighing in at about 3lbs. Her stay in ICU took a full month. Her family members that the Christmas Day would be the day that she would need heart operation. The prayers were answered when Ashley's parents visited the hospital on Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart had been shut. Ashley never needed any surgeries. The hospitalization she received lasted for two months, and she weigh 4 1/2 pounds at the time she left. Since her release, she's not had a single illness! Her father's ancestry is English and German. Her mother's Irish family is where they come from. She made her acting debut in the 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll commercial. Ashley's acting career was further developed after the Ford Modeling Agency approached her at age 8. Ashley has worked steadily with the Ford Modeling Agency for a number of years. As early as 10, she decided that acting was her passion. Ashley performed in over 35 commercials. After that, she progressed into roles for the stage. Ashley was now devoted to acting. Ashley has dedicated all of her time for acting and no longer was able to find time modeling or dancing. Ashley's last role in ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was "Hanna Marin". Ashley also had a cameo as Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) as well as Solange's music video to promote her hit song "True Love". Britney and Ashley also participated in a Vogue Magazine Photo Shoot. The singer is featured in the NLT's music video "That Girl".
