Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 to 2019, she served as artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company. While serving as SSC's Artistic Director, Lauren Ash-Morgan also held the positions of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors and text coaches. Although she usually led from within the acting ensemble during her last year, she made her debut as a director (and the lighting design) with the SSC's King Lear. Other than acting she has been involved in a variety of games programs. She was raised with her two brothers and sisters in Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's wife, a poetess Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. She briefly studied at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Personally, Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. Since 1982 she has been married to actor cum writer Michael A. Ross with whom they have two children. Post, a wonderful actress as well as a wonderful wife and mother, is an example to several Hollywood celebrities.
