Candice King, a American actress, made her name in the role of Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. Candice King began her acting career in mid 1990s, as a singer. The year 2009 was the time she dropped her first album titled 'It is always the innocent ones' in the United States. She wrote twelve songs out of 14 included in the album. While she was at it she worked on her acting skills and was a guest on several TV shows, including How I Met Your Mother. While her professional career was steady the big breakthrough eluded her until she got a role on the CW show The Vampire Diaries. The show almost immediately made her household name. Candice's acting was highly praised for her excellence. Her role was reprised for the 171-episode show's eight seasons. The Originals was her spin-off which debuted in 2018; Legacies was followed by 2021.
